RESUME / BIO

Haseok currently lives with his wife and two daughters in Edgewater, NJ. He first began his career as a fashion photographer, doing editorial work for Korean Vogue, Elle, Instyle magazine, and more. Majoring in mass communication and journalism in college, he discovered his passion for photography in a darkroom for a photojournalism class. It was right then that he fell in love with photography, making up his mind to pursue professional photography. He then proceeded to study fine art photography at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago to obtain his BFA, and commercial photography at the Brooks Institute of photography, Santa Barbara to obtain his Master of Science. Applying his educational background, he kickstarted his business by opening his first studio in Chelsea, NYC.

Over 15 years, he pursued fine art wedding photography throughout his career. His ultimate goal as a photographer is not to depict timeless moments through his eye for aesthetics.
